At 1951 Coffee Company, every bag of coffee empowers our mission to welcome refugees to the United States. This curated collection of specialty coffees is roasted and packaged in house. With our cafe being fully solar powered we also use a Bellwether zero emission roaster.

Tayesh
Originally from Eritrean, Tayesh, brings with her the skills and talents of centuries of roasting and brewing found in the East African coffee traditions. Having spent three years as a barista at 1951 Coffee, she became our Lead Barista and Head of Roasting in 2022.
