On Sunday October 20th, Slow Food East Bay will welcome the Rawaas family of Old Damascus Fare to share delicious Syrian food and their story of resettling in America. This is part of Slow Food’s series celebrating cultural food traditions and the way in which food helps people stay connected to homeland, as well as engage with new communities.
Old Damascus Fare has graciously selected 1951 Coffee Company as their community partner organization for the evening.
Pricing is on a sliding scale, as Slow Food East Bay is committed to being an inclusive community. If you would like to attend and enjoy some delicious Syrian fare, tickets can be purchased here!
